An Entry Waiting in the Works
I'm sitting here at work advoiding what must be done. Actually, that sentence is a bit deceiving. I'm not procrastinating any work. There's no work to do. Everyone has been calling in today to bitch about how we're not fast enough plowing out the developments. Oh well..tough. You try to plow over 200 parking lots, the elderly homes, and highrises with over a foot of snow that has fallen since midnight. We're aren't PennDot. We don't have the man power for it. I swear we'll come plow your street as soon as we can. Everyone of our guys are out plowing.
No, what I'm actually procrastinating is writing an entry that has been upsetting me since yesterday. I know I have to write about it, because if I don't it'll eat me alive. Yes, it has to do with certain twins, but not like it's for you all anyways. I realized something yesterday, and I'm not sure I'm ready to move on yet. I liked where my life was going, except for the extra money being spent. ;)
I'm hoping the snowstorm holds back the crowds at Outback tonight. I'm not even supposed to be working today, but because it's the busiest day of the year, I guess I have to go in. Last year I made $150 in tips. I'm not even going to come close to that this year because, 1) I'm not by myself this year and 2) the weather. I'm hoping at least for a $1000 in sales. Last year we did over $1800.
