Meditation Room

I finally got to use my meditation room last night. Granted, it was not under the best of circumstances. Nate really irritated me for the first time since we’ve been friends. Now, I know its because he is the manager now and has all of his actions watched and so on. Fairfield is on the verge of being sold out tonight. It’ll be the first time they have sold out since before Xmas. The problem is that 3 of the Executive King rooms were booked for Nick, Nate, and myself. All of us were using our gift certificates for a free room. He knew that he would catch some flack for technically not being sold out. So, he made a decision to revoke our rooms for the night. I feel bad for Nick the most, because him and his girlfriend were supposed to drive in from Buffalo. He did not want to stay with Nate at the apartment, especially with Jenny tagging along. Unfortunately, I got called late last night from Nick saying that Jenny wasn’t coming along after all. Darn, I really liked her. We’ll have to go to Buffalo again sometime and go out with her. So, Nick decided to see if he could stay next door at the Homewood using his certificate. I haven’t heard back yet. I’m not holding my breath on this one. He’ll probably end up staying with Nate at his apartment. Worst case, he can stay with me. Someone is going to have to drive me back to my apartment any ways.

So, yeah back to my original thought. My meditation room is very comfortable. I’ve decided to get more pillows for the room. The new throw blanket is comfy. I’ve also decided that the bookcase is coming out of that room. It is distracting from the relaxation vibes coming from the room. Everything is so soft and comfy and then there is this hard thing in the room. I tried my best to hand over my frustration to the universe. I did feel a bit better when I got out of the room. Except that I was extremely tired. Then, it dawned on me that I hadn’t really slept the night before. So, I decided it was time for bed. I slept a good hour before my phone lit up from calls from Mike. Also, it beeped for every message someone left me on Facebook. Whoops, I forgot about that. Finally, all the beeps stopped and I slept pretty well. I actually didn’t want to get up this morning. Not to mention, I forgot to readjust my alarm, and it went off at 7am, instead of 6:45am. I had to hurry a bit getting ready for work. Thank goodness, Fridays are casual.
