Right To Be A Tad Upset?
Do I have the right to be a tad bit upset at what happened this morning?
Okay, so neighbor moved out on May 2nd. Landlord came to clean and vaccuum her apartment on May 3rd. Five days go by...and this morning, very early, 8am early, the pounding started. And I don't mean like someone just tapping a wall. I mean full on sledgehammer pounding and then nailing. I waited for an hour hoping it would stop. Nope...so at 10:15am I called the landlord people and asked why I didn't get a written notice saying that they were going to cause that much noise. They blew me off!! They said they will try to hurry things up a bit, and at worst I would have one more morning like that. I asked if they could wait at least until 11am tomorrow, I work late. They said they couldn't. Yeah, I'm sooo glad I'm leaving soon. Though, I will admit that they stopped the pounding at 10:45am, so I was able to get another hour of sleep before my alarm went off at noon.
I'm going to view another apartment!!
