Furniture Shopping
We finally did it!
There are our pretty couches that we bought today after Nathan's last exam. They are black leather, as is shown in the picture. They make me happy because they are pretty. We even went crazy and bought both the couch and the loveseat. We chickened out and didn't buy the matching chair; our suite is only 800 sq. feet. I am very excited about our lovely couches. I need to buy some lovely accent cushions and throw blankets to accompany the prettiness that is the new couches. No, the rest of the furniture is not ours.
We also bought a new Sealy mattress, but I decided not to provide a picture of it because all mattresses pretty much look the same. Before we bought these things, we bought our first vacuum. Why is it the first, you ask? Our house right now is all tile and we got a shitty hand me down vacuum from my aunt that sufficed for the time. The vacuum is very 'sucky', and it's a lovely blue color. I put it together myself, and I even read the directions. It was disgusting the amount of shit the vacuum picked up from an area rug thingy in our kitchen. Anyways, even though we just spent 3300 dollars on this stuff, we still have to buy a desk (or two?), computer chairs, and a kitchen table and chairs. ARGH. But our house will be pretty. I can't wait for it all to be delivered on the 1st!
But I still hate moving. Drinking makes packing a little bit more fun, so do the 'packing breaks'. har har.
