SCC Rec 'Joseki' by Livii
A story about my imaginary TV girlfriend Cameron (because she'd totally be my TV girlfriend, if she were a girl or, you know, a friend) told through three small scenes between her and John, Sarah and Derek. The whole "metall" thing confuses the hell out of me - does she have feelings, plans, strategies, impulses? If she has, are all of these programmed? Can there even be a thing like a Cameron POV, when everything she "thinks" is programmed?
It makes my head hurt, but i can't stop reading about it either, and this short ficlet touches many of the points that my thoughts get stuck on these days.
