Day Three...

...of the Sacred Heart Diet. Which I have discovered is not endorsed in ANY WAY by the Sacred Heart Memorial Hospital. It is simply a fad diet which works for some but not for most. Light exercising while on the diet seems to be the most effective weight loss solution. I think the reason this diet works is simply that it forces you to eat very healthily and partake in mostly raw foods. It is funny because since I've started, I've begun to look forward to eating certain foods that I wouldn't have even considered a treat before. Like yesterday... I looked forward all day to eating that darned potato. And when I finally got to eat it, it was like eating a bite of a luxurious heaven. Absolutely delicious. I savored every moment. And because yesterday was the day of bland veggies, I looked forward to "getting" to eat fruit today (fruit/veggies/soup). I like it. Like, right now I can't wait until my break when I get to indulge in my wonderfully sweet orange. Mmmm.

So far today I've had two servings of the soup and one apple. I am going to eat my orange and *hopefully* some veggies on my break, then I saved a cucumber for dinner tonight, along with another serving of soup. Cucumbers are one of my favorite veggies beside peas and corn and I can't eat peas or corn on this damn thing, so cucumbers are it I guess.

Okie dokie then. I've rambled enough. Also - I started my dance classes and I am auditioning for the dance show on Thursday. If I get a part in the show I will be dancing for at least one hour 3 days a week (2 hours on M/W nights for jazz dance). Stellar! And I still would love to take tumbling classes at the closest gymnastics center. Ok ok. That's all folks.
