ME3, this week!!!
CGI Mass Effect 3 FemShep trailer? SO MANY FEELINGS. As much as I absolutely loved the first FemShep trailer they released I was disappointed that it was not in glorious CGI. Bioware, never again (well, at least not for a week hehe) will I doubt your ability to deliver! I am a tiny bit disappointed they didn't use Kaidan but having not one, but two female soldiers in a trailer kicking Reaper ass is very, very awesome.
Ash's repeat appearance is most likely due to laziness from Bioware...and I think the reason why she is there in the first place is the same reason why you see Sheploo/Miranda in the ME2 trailers, Bioware figures that 'standard attractive human female' is the best way to appeal to potential new male gamers (silver lining - Liara is not overused when it comes to promo stuff).
It's nice to see FemShep looking very fierce in the CGI, her appearance in game..is sort of weird? She doesn't feel like a real person the way Sheploo does, I feel that she would have been a far more realistic looking character if they had based her on you know, an actual person. Sigh. Anyway, I really hope that some kind of mod emerges that enables us to edit her facial features. Or it would be really nice if for once Bioware allowed us to edit a default in the character creator but I really don't see that happening. The main things that irk me about her are her lips and jawline...
Overall, I don't really mind the look of her, yes the heavy make-up and hair are completely silly for battle but oh well. I also wish the freckles had been a bit lighter/more subtle..I KNOW SO MANY COMPLAINTS ASDJFKSDLJFSDKLFJSH it's silly.
Please Bioware make default FemShep's ridiculous but attractive hair available in the character creator! I want my FemSheps to be able to enjoy it without modding.

Also, Sheploo and Ashley romance in the launch trailer ~ BE STILL MY HEART ~ !!! Bioware had better do justice to this romance and leave me fainting and swooning all of the place due to the epicness of it all. Really, really tempts me to play Sheploo first because I do enjoy Sheploo/Ash but...FemShep is too awesome to resist, she simply must be played first.

Anyway: THE DEMO. I've played it er, a few times now, mostly to try and create a reasonable looking FemShep, sadly I feel I have not yet been successful. The character creator drives me crazy to be honest. If success does not occur in this venture FemShep shall have her helmet on always. I thinking of sending Eva through ME3 first, the main changes I'm attempting to make are giving her a longer chin because short chins in ME3 look kind of weird to me. Also, her cute freckles will be gone (so sad!) because the freckle texture looks strange for some reason 90% of the time on Xbox360 so in ME3 so she'll have a smoother more even skin tone. Her hair will remain 'classy' if the default FemShep's messy classy style remains unavailable. Also, maybe black lipstick?
She still needs more work, as I said, creating a female face that I am happy with in ME3 for some reason seems to be a nightmare. Sometimes she is too babyfaced and young looking and other times she looks really old and worn out. I blame the lighting lol?! That being said, the FemShep I have created does have some amusing expressions when she emotes...
The other feeling I got from the demo is that combat is going to much harder, I'll try to get through Insanity but um, I fear my poor Shepards are going to die many times...
