I need constant feedback. If I don't get it, I immediately get very discouraged.
I don't get it. In any sense.

What I need to be happy right now at this juncture, not necessarily in this order:
- intoxication
- hugs
- food
- warmth
- coffee and chocolate
- my hobo coat (oh, hobo coat, I miss you so)
- my house key
- you.

There's something deeply comforting about rain on the roof, curling up under a heavy quilt, driving through thunderstorms in watertight vehicles, street light halos, enormous old rain boots ( Read more... )

I like taking showers at midnight. I like wandering around the house alone in the dark, breathing quietly and waiting for my hair to dry.
People are fun, but sitting at home on a Saturday night listening to Iranian pop and building a trebuchet out of paper clips can also be fun, if not funner. I forget that, sometimes ( Read more... )
