About this chapter, I couldn't help but smile when Paul told John he loved him and how nonchalantly John tried to act, adorable. I also loved that they avoided each other for a week after they arrived back in Liverpool... I can see them doing that, completely! Like going back to their familiar territory reminded them that it shouldn't happen anymore, and probably made them think that hey had done what they did because Paris worked its magic on them, you know, blame it on Paris, the city of love! ... And the phone sex! "worst phone sex ever" LOL crap! I'd love to read exactly how that went, even if I'm cracking up half the time! (I really thought they were going to have phone sex again, I have to admit that I'm glad they didn't ( ... )

"I think I love you, John." Oh Paul. (sniffle).

Paris. Something major happened there for John, for sure. And I suspect it was very much to do with Paul. I like your version of what that was.
