I hardly ever make vid recs, even though I've been on big downloady rampages and end up seeing a lot of really good ones. But I think thus far only three videos have really opened my eyes. Oooh, I'm going to have to check out those vids.

It's funny you should be talking about Firefly at the moment, because I got an email today from Village Skycity Cinemas, and this is what it said:

Dear Natalie,

Welcome to this weeks movie club e-newsletter.

Firefly fans now have a one off chance to see the movie SERENITY at Village SKYCITY Cinemas Queen St from Monday 19 September at 8.30pm. Tickets go on sale on Monday 29 August, so be in quick.

I almost want to go, but there'd be the transport issue. And also the having-no-one-to-go-with issue. When does it come out here? Is it long? I guess I'll just have to wait.

FUCK!!!! That is beyond unfair!!!! I would die to see it in advance but nooooo, they're not coming to Christchurch early by the looks of it. GAH!!! If I were anywhere near Auckland I'd go with you so fast you won't even see me coming with you. (Forget about the logistics of that.) General NZ release looks to be 17 November.

His offline vids were hosted by Buffyverse, and I can't figure out if it's gone offline permanently or just undergoing some reshuffling. If it holds out for much longer I did volunteer to host a few more of his vids, so I guess we'll see.
