I just saw a surprisingly awesome Chinese production of Richard III as a part of the
Globe 2 Globe festival (all of Shakespeare's plays, each in a different language). The adaptation used a lot of Chinese opera sensibilities and made for wonderful contrast against last year's Sam Mendes/Kevin Spacey production. Very cool. I'm seeing Hip Hop Othello next weekend, and in the meantime am wondering whether to see Cantonese Titus Andronicus as well. Decisions, decisions!
