Short Inara/Kaylee vid, probably the last I'm going to do for Firefly.

This is indeed my first foray into femslash for any fandom in any medium. I had meant for it to be longer, but ran out of footage by the 2 minute mark and decided not to drag it on. Stephen hammered it home back in 2002 that knowing when to stop is half the battle. Mark acted as beta-reader (can you say reader for vidding? Beta-viewer, then.) and said it's "more friendly than sexy", which is fair enough. But hey, can't get sexy when there's none to be had. Funny, though - Inara and Kaylee seemed to have more subtext in context rather than when picked out for vidding. Usually it works the other way around.
Am very pissed off as they changed second-semester lecture timetables and I can't do contemporary philosophy because it now clashes with family law, which is a whole year course. I'll have to switch to bio-ethics, which looks interesting, but it's only a second-year paper, which means I'll have to do the remaining third-year philosophy credit next year. It was supposed to be my relaxing year, dammit!
Scathing Star Wars review to be the 'feature review' for next issue of Lucid. Hah, feel v. important. In other magazine news, Capsule (the crappy one I edit) is gonna run a big pimp for the Firefly DVD set, seeing it just came out into the NZ market recently. Will casually toss in the fact that there's a movie coming and that it'll be miles better than Episode III and that everyone should go see it. Bless.

sir_fireboard is kindly sending me widescreen clips of Tru Calling season 2, so hopefully I can get some TC vids up and running soon. Also contacting various people for Angel season 4 clips, and eventually there will be some pretty Connor vids too, fingers crossed.
