I've been pretty depressed lately (possibly because I've been listening to this song too much - circular argument) and the more fic I read on Simon the more I come to realise just how desolate his situation is, and how much love he must draw on just to keep him going. I hope some of that is communicated through the video. It's not a CSI shipper vid per se, it deals with love in a broader sense; people can take it how they see it.
I'm very proud of how this one turned out. I've always wanted to do a vid in black and white, and after a lot of thought I decided to try my hand with Street Spirit, my second favourite song in the whole wide world and, debatably, the most beautiful. I was very afraid I'd sully it, but I think the vid turned out decently. I guess I consider the monochrome a hat-tip to the actual Street Spirit video directed by Jonathan Glazer, which is by far the best music video in the history of the universe.
