vid recs
New to me vidder: kaydeefalls. Check out What it is, Merlin OT4, which has a great sense of musicality and parallels, and really captures the hopeful, playful innocence of this show and these characters.
While there I also checked out All the Things I've Done, Torchwood/Doctor Who, no CoE spoilers. This was really impressive for a first vid and I love the use fades to black and small character portraits along the way of everybody else on Jack's long journey. As with the Merlin vid, I felt that it really captured something undefinable about the essence of the show(s).
I've created a new recs tag called "new to me vidder", which I think I need to go back and edit my recs with. While I'm there, I might create vidder-specific tags if I can be bothered. ;)
