I just had an idea this morning for an Atonement movie vid and am a tiny bit excited, but need to examine the idea in further detail before I commit.

Definitely! All I have is stream-of-consciousness at the moment and I don't know if it'll ever move past that stage, but if anything actually firms up structure-wise I would love your input.

Score on the DVDs too. Had seen Volcano High a few years ago, I too was enticed by the blurb. I think it was around the time I was begining to tire of all the melodramatics in anime/eastern movies, so it didn't go down too well as I remember it being of a similar nature. But thats because Im probably just getting older & crankier.

Hopefully I'll get to start on it this weekend. It's a bit weird because it explores the Carver as a metaphor rather than a person, so the vid screws around with their actual identity.

I've been meaning to watch L Change the World. Have you seen the Death Note movies? Because it's sort of a spin off/sequel thingie, I think.
