One Tree Hill - Okay, I thought this episode was going to be a little bit more suspenseful than it was. Not that I'm entirely complaining, because I'm super excited that the crazy Nanny got dead. I just wish Haley had given her the beatdown instead of Deb and Dan getting all the fun. I feel like I was robbed of some sort of showdown. Felt really bad for Nathan being offered a coaching job instead of a playing part on the team. He's been working so hard and I do not like the direction they are looking to take him into with this other crazy league. So I'm not sure how I'm going to feel about his story in the coming weeks. Lucas, Lucas, Lucas. *sighs* He's always trying to be the nice guy but somehow he usually always messes it up. LOL And poor Peyton.
Again, this episode wasn't exactly OH MY GOD...but it was a nice easy flow that I enjoyed watching. And I supremely loved watching that crazy bitch nanny die.
DWTS - I'm sorry but I was so fucking bored this week. Let me tell you about my Monday's first. My DVR tapes One Tree Hill and Heroes and I have to watch DWTS in live time. I hate that, I hate commercials. But this week was 2 hours of fucking boredom not only because of commercials but because of the dances. I didn't even watch the last half hour and of course a really great dance was done (Kim and Warren) I am annoyed that Kim went home and that Cloris is still in. It's just getting to be ridiculous. I don't see her as "oh, she's an old spunky lady"...I see her more as "really? Is she that fucking ridiculous?" It's not good and she needs to be leaving next week. I will say that every single week until she is gone. But...my PASHA!!! I was so excited when they announced Pasha and Anya to dance during Jessica Simpson's song. I probably would have hit the fast forward button (like SOME people I know *coughs*Shellie*coughs*) but I heard his name and I did squee just a little bit.
Heroes - I FINALLY caught up and I'm not as disappointed as I thought I was going to be after reading some comments. Yes, I think I've been mind-fucked but that's been happening since day 1 of this show for me. I'm always in a state of WTF? LOL Couple of things that stood out for me and I wanted to comment on...yes, Sylar needs to go the fuck away but OH MY GOD...Mrs. Petrelli is his mom??? He's Claire's uncle too? He's Peter and Nathan's brother? WHAT THE FUCK????? When he was with HRG at the bank...he seriously cracked my shit up when he took over pretending to be a federal agent...and told them to get him some coffee...decaf. Okay, I laughed, and for a minute I liked Sylar.
The part(s) with present Peter and future Peter and Peter stuck in someone else's body - Ouch, my head hurts.
Does Nikki have a twin? It looks like it's possible she was a triplet? Cause that was really a body in the coffin. Although, what I don't understand...Nikki supposedly died in the explosion in that building but she looked pretty good in her coffin. Not a burnt crisp anywhere on her. Hmmmm. So Tracey I'm not sure of yet either.
I think the storyline with Parkman in Africa and Hiro, Ando, and their nemesis are kind of stupid. I don't have much to say about them yet.
Claire needs to be smacked upside her head. I know, she had the top of her head cut off and her brain poked at by Sylar but that doesn't mean she gets to be an asshole to her mom, the one that fucking raised her. And speaking of her, I LOVED that she kept telling Claire's biological mom "I appreciate that you're here to help protect us, but you do not get a say in how I handle MY daughter." GO MOM!
So, I'll still be tuning in next week.
Private Practice - Wheeeeeeeeeee!! Okay, so as I told Shellie, hot cop was only in the episode for 5 minutes but he was fucking hot for all 5 of them. Seriously. He can "Swat" me anytime. Overall I enjoyed this episode, the weaving of all the relationships with the storylines. Very strong premiere, I think.
Brothers and Sisters - Oh my god, I'm so happy this show is back. Just for the sarcasm between the siblings. It's hysterical. I can't believe Tommy fired Kevin...that is fucked up. He always is the dick of a brother anyway. I loved when Kevin told him that their father hired him as their lawyer as a way to make him a part of the family business. I completely agree. I think Kitty was being kind of an ass about Sarah not really writing that letter. I didn't understand where they deeper issues of trust or whatever she said came into play. That story felt a little off for me. But next week when her husband tells Nora that's enough at the dinner table...woo hooo! I can't wait for that. I really enjoyed Nora telling Holly that she wasn't Nora's husbands only mistress. Knocked that bitch down a notch or two.
90210 was okay. Nothing to really say about it. It's a fluff show but I like it. I haven't watched Lipstick Jungle yet so I'll have to talk about that one tomorrow.
Real life stuff - Kaden has been sick this week. I had to take him to the ER on Sunday because he wasn't breathing right and he had this hacking cough that was getting worse and worse. I could just tell that it was taking effort for him to take a breath. Although my MIL came over to listen to him, she said his lungs were clear and there wasn't any wheezing. He didn't have any fever nor could you tell he was sick with the way he was still wanting to run around and play. Still, it bothered me because when he would talk it would sound as if he was pushing the last of his sentence out. They ended up giving him a breathing treatment at the hospital and said he just had an upper respiratory infection and to go see my pediatrician on Monday. There they told me he had Croup and prescribed more treatments for him. I have a nebulizer at home for my own asthma so he just had to prescribe the medication. Told me to give him 2-3 treatments a day for a couple of days. He's much better now and finally went back to school today.
That's about it for me. Work and Kaden and TV consume me. LOL They opened a few Kohl's nearby so tonight I'm going shopping with my neighbor...retail therapy. LOL They just found out they were having a boy (they have 2 girls already) so she is ready to get her shopping on for boy stuff....I did tell her though that she only needs to walk 2 doors down and come shopping in my house. I'm looking to get rid of a lot of Kaden's stuff just because he has so much!
