Well, don't I just suck at this journaling thing. I don't know what my deal is. I could probably babble every day but I just don't. *shrugs*

Well, it's JC month. And it brings back lots of memories and makes me feel the love again. Maybe something constructive can come out of this. We'll see.

Been reading some really good books lately and we all know how happy that makes me.

Booked the Funbrellas for Kaden's birthday party. Oh my god. I can't believe I'm getting ready to plan his first birthday. We are having it a little park where there is a small water park inside. It's split into two sections...one side is a pool with some small waterslides and other water activities and the other side is small beach type area. They are allowed to play in the pool part for 2 hours which is more than enough for Kaden to handle. He's gonna be so tired and worn out by the time it's all over. Now, I just have to come up with a theme. I think we are going with Elmo.

Work has still been very busy and I think we are getting ready to hire someone again. I think I've talked my boss into putting that someone into a different room or else I wouldn't even really be considering it at all. He doesn't get the logic, or even like it, but he'll do it I think.

Did I mention that B was bit by a pitbull last weekend? Yeah. He brought Adonis over to a friends house knowing that the friend was dogsitting for his neighbors pitbull. He thought they'd be okay together but he was oh so wrong. The dogs were having a very real dog fight when B tried getting the pitbull to release her hold on our dogs face! Of course, Adonis had her by the neck but... Anyway, B stuck his hand into the pitbull's mouth to pry her jaw open, while the friend was trying to knock the pitbull away from Adonis. Between the two of them pushing and pulling, the dog let go of Adonis and clamped down on B's hand. Right in the tendon between his pinky and ring fingers, almost clear through to the other side.

His left hand has been swollen (and useless) since Sunday (did I mention he's a lefty?) but he's refused to see the doctor or go to the ER. Yes, the swelling has gone down. No, it doesn't look like it might be infected. Yes, he's able to move his fingers. But I'd still like him to go see the doctor for it just in case. His mother (who is a nurse) comes home from vacation tonight and she's gonna work him over and get him to go. I hope, anyway.

Okay, that's about it for me today. Have a great weekend!!
