Munich...anyone?

Sometimes people feel lost on what they want to do with their lives in the future...what path to take, which turn to make and whether that light at the end of the never-ending "game of life" was the correct one.  Today while researching up outreach ideas and registering for a Webinar for SWE I stumbled upon the "Engineer This!" webpage targeted to aspiring high school students to join engineering in the future.  After reading the profiles I noticed that some people would work around the world by improving the water quality, working with NASA or creating Star Wars video games. The profile I liked the most was that of a mechanical engineer that works at IDEO.

OMG I want to go there now! and guess what? one of their locations is in Boston, MA!!!!

And they also have an opening to go to Munich, Germany for a 6-month internship.  I am really tempted to apply and try my luck and see if I can get an interview.  Living there will be a unique experience and I get to learn German (the dominant language with the company is English).  But I know I have responsibilities in the table for this upcoming school year and leaving for 6 months will not be fair to the people I have promised to work with.  So now I am thinking of applying for the next summer positions to go either to Boston, Munich or Shanghai.  I think this will be an awesome idea since this company is like a think-tank for ideas which brings to life in a mass-production scale.

Inventions = love!

Someday...I'll see world...
