My summer days so far...

I can't believe what I am saying or thinking but I actually like AND understand what I am doing in my research lab... sure they might use complicated jargon from time to time but OMG I understand!!!

Here are a few highlights:

• got a cubicle @ work w/awesome co-workers
• got my first pay check
• the AFM is the only thing that makes me get utterly frustrated... one day I tell you I will conquer that machine
• I'll be going to UM to a collaborator's lab as a small lab field trip to conduct tensile stress test and to take AFM pics.  How cool is that? I get to see breakage in nanoscale form!
• I likey it

So school is going well, I have made friends in my classes so we will see how that goes.  Materials is easy due to the amount of reading I have to do for work.. my mom asked me: "so are you basically getting payed to read?"... me:"yeah, that's what it looks like"

This summer is a big one for SWE I hope I'll be a good president.

So the dance group I'm in will be performing @ Yasumicon.  I still don't know what my role for this might be but what ever it is I'll be there till the end.. ummm youtube video time!!
This summer seems to be a good one... so if all goes well I'll be in Gville for the HP premier... omg have any of you seen the trailers? I'm flipping out!!!!!

Umm.. I want ice cream... or pocky!
