Things.
So, potentially, I could be moving to Brisbane on the 9th or 10th of February. Hannah, Claire and Ben have a house of Lytton Road. So with the four of us living in a three bedroom/one bathroom/study house it would cost us $74 a week and the bond is unbelievably cheap too.
Hannah showed us the front of the house on Wednesday morning, and though it looks a bit tatty from the front (mainly because of the overgrown garden) it really is a sweet little house.
So hopefully, if I can find a job within the next week or so in Brisbane so I can pay rent and move. The only thing I will have to do is convince my father to lend me the money for the bond, food, stuff for the house etc. and also attempt to convince him that I am actually going to continue to complete my degree after I defer. He seems to have a real problem with it, but the course that I am doing is far too interesting for me to want to quit it. I mean, I get 24 hour studio access for god's sake! Honestly..
Ben had an interview on Monday with a marketing firm in West End and I'm guessing that they liked his nervous and awkward charm, and so they decided to employ him. But he described the people as pretty much the entire cast of the Office. So, as much as we are both happy that he finally has a job we don't think he'll last very long. The girl who interviewed him on Monday was describing their working enviroment and apparently said "Oh, we're a bit whacky and random here! You never know what to expect with us! Last week, we all sat here in the board room and just ate lemons! Crazy, I know."
I would have tried to set her on fire.
So for the past few days, I have been in Brisbane with only two sets of clothes, sweating like a cuntrash, spending little money, being unbelievably hungry and stressed out and applying for jobs in Brisbane. I found an ad for extra work in movies and TV and I found that I just couldn't resist applying, because then I could be like Andy from Extras. I love Ricky Gervais.
