Back in the day people used to get dressed up to play croquet
its time for another entry, mostly because i woke up earlier than i was planning to, so i now have some time i didnt expect to have, so why not make a livejournal update about the current standing of my life. the electiion is over, which is a great relief, the turn out was great dems took the house and senate, and prop 41, 43, and 48 failed! also that means that i am no longer the coordenator for the student vote coalition, which as much as i enjoyed it, was a pain in the ass, i was pulling 10 hour days putting together phone banks and making sure that everyone knew when the dealines for voting was and that students knew that things on the ballot mattered... then all of the svc (me, tamera, monique, and dan) went out and partied, i got incredibly fucked up and woke up wearing a "one" bracelet and i coulnt remember where i got it... apparently megan gave it to me... one is a cool oregnization, just fighting for the US govt. to allocate more money (1%) of the US budget to fighting poverty and homelessness in the world. speaking of, H&H week is next week, so i have a lot of work to do organizing for that, still need to book a band for the sleepout on thursday, and get the word out. i was on TV though, it was awesome. nothing too long but just a soundbite about the election and the SVC. i got a show on KSOC too, which is my schools radiostation it only broadcasts online http://www.sou.edu/su/ksoc/ there is the link. i am on the air monday from 10 to 11 and will jsut talk and play random music, without bad language. if you have any sugestions feel free to call me, and i would love to dedicate songs to people and whatnot 760 213 1518... there isint much more going on. i have been making more friends which is nice. i got in with the bad habit bandits (just a local group of kids who get fucked up and destroy shit, they are amusiing) it ends up that one of them is from orange county, so we talk about so cal. they are all good guys. they told me i need to go to the "Habit Hole" and get fucked up with them. sounds like good times, they are in a band too. i enjoy the music, punk... but all accoustic and with a mandolin, most of their songs are about underage drinking, truely interesting people. oh, and if any of you missed my myspace post. halloween in ashland next year, it was the craziest thing i have ever seen. truely amazing... ok i am done ranting... bye bye
