New Christmas discovery for the day: Tinsel makes me cry. Yep. Tinsel. It was my Grammy's favorite thing about Christmas, so apparently now it spontaneously turns me into a crazy person. I do have a theory that the unhappy will quickly fade, and will be replaced by happiness and good memories of the many tinsel fests we had (and the amount of it we had to forcibly prevent the cats from eating).
Isn't it funny how after a while, the big stuff doesn't bother you at all? It's the weird little quirky things that really catch you off guard.
In any case, I am still excited about christmas, and giving presents. Okay, yeah, and getting them too. I have a feeling this year's Christmas is going to be a good one somehow. And if not, it's nothing a little mulled wine can't fix!
