[Zelda's in her room today. She's had a few days to think about everything, to reflect, to be fond of past memories, to look forward to future ones.]

[He's a little excited. He wants to know if she'll like it.]

[She might as well concede to his point. She's not against seeing him, after all.]

It is on deck 7. Room 6333. I will meet you outside.

[Kevas grabs his bed slat and heads out the door towards her room. By now, he barely needs the slat. His leg is well enough to hold his weight without it. He only keeps it because he promised Cat not to strain himself.

When he sees Zelda he beams brightly and keeps an arm hidden behind his back. Obviously he doesn't want her to know what it is yet.]

Alright Princess close joor eyes.

[With her hands laced together, Zelda waits for her elder outside, wondering what it is he has for her. When she sees him approach, she smiles brightly. He seems to be doing so much better than he was before. It relieves her to a great extent. She was so worried--even if she didn't say anything.

An eyebrow lofts at him.]

...Really?

[Whatever he wants then. She closes her eyes and to ensure she doesn't peek, she lifts her hands and draws them over her face. It's... almost romantic in a way. Well, would be if it weren't Kevas, of course. The thought makes her chuckle a little to herself.]

[pimp_hat]

[Now that her eyes are closed Kevas removes his hand from behind his back and gently sets his hat on her head. Well, not his hat but a replica. The difference being that the one he gave her is a little smaller and white.]

Okay open dem up.

[There's no doubt that she feels it. Her hands lift a little higher to follow the rim of her hat and she wiggles her ears beneath it happily.]

O-oh! It...

[She points to his head with a bright smile.]

It is like yours! Did... you... How did you procure it, Kevas?

[She gently pulls down on it, in a way snuggling into it. It's a strange gesture, but enjoyable all the same.]

[His chest swells with pride. She likes it! He's never really been that good with gifts. Usually he just takes someone out to get drunk, but he got the feeling that wouldn't exactly be appropriate.]

[He's always amazed at the thing one can find down on deck 12]

You made it? I never imagined you would be capable of doing something so wonderful! I like it. It makes me feel closer to you.

[No, it's not entirely princess-like, but it makes her feel like she shares something with her older brother. So anytime she goes somewhere with him, she'll wear it, as a reminder of who he is to her--although Zelda needs no reminder. She's beaming, however. Kevas has managed to keep her spirits up high. Not that they weren't to begin with. Only that they are more so now.]
