[Zelda's in her room today. She's had a few days to think about everything, to reflect, to be fond of past memories, to look forward to future ones.]
...Where to begin?
I suppose... the origin is a good place...
For her, I must do all that I can.

Of course.
When would suit you?

When...? Oh... Well...
Whenever is of convenience for you, of course.

[Oh, Erol. You just struck a note with mentioning that deck. Zelda has fond memories of it. Quite a bit.]

... Dear Precursors, what a piece of work.
"Verily."
Well at any rate Zelda, here's an Erol, bruises and all. Only the one stretching from cheek to jaw is visible though, the rest are hidden beneath a long-sleeved shirt.*

She's dressed as proper as ever and with one hand, raises her skirts. No sense in letting herself get too dirty, or... misconstrued. She seems happy to see Erol, however, and she pays him with a curtsy.]

And after the bow, he offers her his arm. Why yes, he CAN act the gentleman if he so chooses.]
Stairs or elevator?
Reply
Zelda carefully wraps her arm around his. He's allowed to escort her--if that's what he's doing. She doesn't really know, because she's not used to it. The only other thing she's done is hold hands. Not that she'd ever admit to it.]
The elevator will be quicker. Stairs are good if we wish to take in the sights. Of course, I am certain you have seen more than your fair share of this ship, correct?

Her body shyness isn't lost on him, but he shoves his thoughts on it aside. It wouldn't do to get... distracted while he was behaving as a proper escort, now would it.]
There aren't that many sights in the stairwell. And to be perfectly honest, Deck 16 has... issues. We may be considerably more comfortable with the elevators, especially given your attire - lovely of course.
[Erol leads the way to the elevator. He likes leading~]

She's in the middle of scorning herself when she zeroes in on his words.]
I do have to admit I would prefer to avoid... said 'issues'. I am sure you understand.
[She casts a glance over to him and tips her head.]
I hardly look different than anyone else aboard. I... may not be as fetching as some, and yet, I would not say that there is such a distinct contrast.
[It appears to be her way of acting modest. Or truly confessing she doesn't think much of herself in that light. She's only too pleased to let him lead. After all, she has never been onto the decks below. She could easily say that with Erol, it's the deepest she's gone.]

I simply mean that - should gravity suddenly upend itself - you might find yourself in an... undignified position. I would not inflict such a thing on you.
As for your appearance, I would humbly beg to disagree. You are quite beautiful by any standard.

I very much appreciate your concern for me. You are right. I would not... It... It would be very unseemly for you to see me in such a way. I should not show myself as unbecoming.
[His next words seem to touch her, although a part of her doesn't want to admit that. She'll have to turn it around on him.]
Why, certainly your good looks are rubbing off onto me.

[Erol's promises are worth about as much as wet tissue paper - depending entirely on what he stands to gain by fulfilling them. But hey.
At that comment, he blinks, then genuinely laughs.]
Well-said, Princess! Touché.
[Ding! Deck 17. Welcome to bohemia, Zelda! Plush pillows and copious drapes, just waiting for a hookah or ten. And of course that tapestry, which seems to move just when you're not looking at it.]

Even I can say things that are witty, Sir Erol.
[She affectionately pats his arm with a grand smile. For a moment she looks as though she'll say something more to him, but then she turns her attention onto the deck.]
...Oh... my. In an... odd way, I suppose, it certainly has some charm to it. A very... storybook feel to it.
[Zelda moves to enter and she gently tugs him along.]
