I attended a really cool, hour-long comedic-timing workshop for Cendrillon  (the opera I'm in right now) presented tonight by our director. However, during the course of one of the exercises I stumbled a bit and stepped on a small part of the set, breaking it. I just tried putting a new light bulb in the architect lamp sitting next to my desk, and upon plugging it in and rolling the switch wheel to "ON" found that the light bulb merely flickered but smoke starting coming out of the switch casing! AUUGGH!!
