Strange associations

I just saw a lady ride past on a motor scooter, and my first thought was, "Ha ha, like Mrs. Price." I am of course referring to Bedknobs and Broomsticks in which Angela Lansbury plays an apprentice witch trying to learn more magic to help the war effort in the fight against the Nazis (WWII). Lansbury's Mrs. Price zooms around on an old motorcycle (with a sidecar attached, ala The Last Crusade) that makes a distinct popping/buzzing sound, and spews yellow sulfur smoke. For some reason, this lady zipping by on her motor scooter reminded me of that. Bedknobs and Broomsticks was one of my favorite movies growing up, as the final battle scene depicts hundreds of suits of armor being brought to life by the ultimate spell Mrs. Price finally acquires, and this army of armor marches forth to do battle with a battallion of invading Nazis. It's pretty much the coolest thing ever, and satisfies that urge to see a bunch of knights weilding swords, shields, and executioner's axes against Nazis with Lugars and sub-machine guns. Plus, there's some catchy songs, and the dynamic presence of David Tomlinson (also known as Mr. Banks from Mary Poppins). Wow. Okay, going about my business now. Enjoy your day.
