I have found comfort. The upcoming DOOM movie(scheduled for an August 2005 release) seems to be sounding better to my ears. It does not take place on Earth, it does not involce a SWAT team, it will be rated R, and it could possibly include Hell, or simply mutants. And, alas, it also contains the BFG. Otherwise known as, Big Fucking Gun.
Can't wait to see it, or the trailer, to depend on whether it will be worth the watch or not.
