A computer blew up. Like for reals. And then a microwave. Electricians are here looking at breakers and things right now.

I think this is totally out of my league.

For the record, I wasn't even in the building when it happened.

ETA: Apparently the hospital (across the street) blew a major circuit as well.

ETA2: And another computer blew.

I just had to fingerprint an employee who was sniffling and blowing her nose in spite of the fact that she was very much high on some DayQuil or equivalent cold medicine. If I get sick as a result, I'll be very irritated.

I can't believe I just did that!

I can't believe I just blindly saved over a file. And lost hours of work.

I need help. I need to make an interactive PDF form. I have Adobe Acrobat Standard 7. I jumped from 5 to 7. In 5, it was easy to make form fields. In 7, I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it. Did they take that option out completely and put it in LiveCycle Designer?

...why I dislike covering the front desk.

Every time I try to get some actual work done at the front desk people are all "what's that?" "what're you doing?" "who's that for?". Zeus on a crutch, I'm trying to do work, stop trying to read over my shoulder.

I guess I'll just go back to my web games.
