I'm new to LiveJournal, and still figuring out how things work here, but I just wanted to post an introductory message so I can direct people to my new blog.
So, a bit about me. I'm Oat. This blog will be about me, what I believe in, what I think, what I fight for. It will be about the people I love, it will be about politics and about religion. It will be about what I'm uncertain of, what I'm thinking through, and what I'm planning and hoping.
Occasionally it will be about my partner Tiny, the nihilistic atheist with a penchant for world history, religious history, ecology, anthropology and Battlestar Gallactica.
Occasionally it will be about beauty, long hair, and nifty second-hand clothes. Occasionally it will be about self-indulgent introspection. Occasionally it will be about sexuality and relationships, and occasionally it will be about nothing at all.
To those that have followed me here from another blog, thank you for coming. I couldn't speak freely over there and speaking freely is something I need to do. I'll be cross-posting entries there - entries that I'm absolutely positive will not contravene community guidelines.
