I will NEVER understand
I will NEVER understand how people can possibly endorse a medical "system" that results in people neglecting to seek medical advice because they can't afford it...to the point where they post on internet forums asking if this mysterious ongoing condition warrants a visit to the doctor.
Nor will I understand how people can possibly bring themselves to give medical advice regarding an undiagnosed condition on internet forums. It's one thing to say, "It might be this - ask your doctor, but this was my experience", it's another to say, "It's probably this. Just treat it with X and you'll be fine".
It's bizarre.
