ONE Hi and huge *hugs* to new LJ friends: eula_tequila, outofdoritos, and bliss_! Welcome to the insanity. ;)
TWO I got the best surprise last night when my dad got home from the airport 3 hours earlier than expected. :D He'd been away for 10 days, scouting for property in Aklan and Boracay for his former boss, leaving my mom, my brother and I at home to fend for ourselves. Heh. He came home to a family that missed him, a puppy that was SO EXCITED OMG to see him again, with a hundred stories, bracelets and chocolates and pistachios and suman to share. ♥ Yay. It feels good to have the whole family here, even when I'm lying sick in bed.
THREE Some pretty old but still GREAT news: imjaw and I finally have our Cook+Archie concert tickets!!! :D
It's seventeen days away, and I cannot wait. It's going to be the fangirling experience of a lifetime. I'm saving my voice and currently overdosing on their solo albums to prepare, hee. LOVE IT.
FOUR This post will be all about the happy because I've been sick for two straight days. WATCH ITTTTTTTTT:
YOU GUYS. I don't think you understand how much I WANT THIS TO HAPPEN TO ME EVERY DAY. My dream world is a 24/7 musical, and Stick to the Status Quo will always be my Pisay caf/CASAA fantasy. GAHHH. It's just so wonderful and happy and oh, Julie Andrews. ♥
Also awesome: The new T-mobile ad. Just. Impromptu dance parties in the middle of a boring commute! How awesome/hilarious/amazing would that be?! I WAAAAAAAAAAANT. Somebody do this in the middle of, I dunno, the Ayala MRT station? The Katipunan LRT station when I'm there? CASAA? Please?

THIS ADORABLE GUY. Sorry for all the embedded videos, but. Just. I couldn't not share. I love him. I love him, and I so fervently wish that he gets to the finale. I want so badly for the AI Powers That Be to not get their much-touted Adam/Danny Final Two. ICK. Not Danny, please. Danny+Adam will just be a night full of shout-y, riff-y, glory note-y performances - and while I love me some belting, I don't want six songs filled with runs and ended scream-o style. Just... no.
I would love some understated, thoughtful, emotional performances from my boy Kris. And like I told niminy_piminy, I want Kris to win not just because I think he's the best contestant, but also because I selfishly want more of him in my life. I want my weekly doses until the very last episode in May, I want him to sing forever, I want to get the most from him before I wait on pins and needles for his album. (And I would totally buy it the day it comes out here.)
So. Pocket Idol FTW! (Please?)
SIX The Yankees snapped a 4-game losing streak today, winning 11-0 against the Tigers. FINALLY, after that embarrassing sweep at Fenway. :| Hooray for 10 runs in one inning (+ a Molina grand slam!), Hughes' strong start and first Major League win since September '07. Good game.
SEVEN Last but definitely not least, I got two pieces of AWESOME mail today:
SEVEN A A Philippine Postal Corporation Reigstry Notice - that means I have a package full of Threadless shirts waiting for me at the Parañaque post office! Many many thanks to the beautiful amethyst_water for ordering them for me and sending them here. :D WHEE! I ordered Stop Destroying Our Planet, Follow It and Subliminal from this year's Spring sale - three shirts that were still $15 each (I think) last December. YAY!

A Spring Awakening programme from the Tour's run in Toronto, autographed ("Wishing you were here!!" Much love!!" OMG I DIE) by my future husband (SHUT UP), the one and only MATT DOYLE!!!!!
Yeah so I woke up with my head spinning and my stomach all complain-y, I couldn't make myself get up to go to school, I had to cancel a sleepover I've been excited about all week, but OHMYGOD. KEIRA. KEIRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. I don't know what to say. I don't think I have to tell you how much this means to me. ♥♥♥ You are INCREDIBLE, you are the biggest sweetheart ever, and I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.
MATT DOYLE AS FULL-TIME MELCHIOR TOUCHED THIS PROGRAMME. SIGNED IT WITH MY NAME AND HIS NAME. Keira even included the At This Performance slip that had his Playbill info on it. GAH. It's one of my biggest fangirl dream come to life. I cannot thank you enough, Keira. Just. Wow. Thank you.
