Marty and Angela's Apartment: Mother's Day - Evening
It was the first Mother's day for Angela and Abby, and Marty made sure it was a special one. Of course there were the usual jokes that really it was Marty's day but he wasn't about to accept any greeting cards.
But after the fuss was made and then done with, Marty put Abby down for her nap and went into the other room to make a phone call.
"Yes? I was wondering if I could speak to Mary Blank, please? This is her son. ... I see. So, she'll be under observation for how long? Uh-huh. And there's no way I could just talk- Right. Okay. Thank you."
Marty turned off his cell and tossed it on the bed. After a few minutes he went into Abby's room and sat down to watch her sleep.
