In light of recently released evidence about the rush for war in Iraq, Many americans (over 400,000) are asking Congress to censure 'president' Bush for knowingly taking the country to war under false pretenses.
A recent report from the CIA confirmed that George Tenet (director of the CIA) knew at least three monthes before Bush's 2003 State of the Union Address that the claim about Uranium in Niger was fabricated. The CIA informed Bush of this, and cautioned him about accusing Iraq of possessing biological or chemical weapons, as these claims were "unsubstantiated." Lying to Congress is a Felony and an impeachable offense; a censure is the least we can do.
