Dragon Ritual Drummers - Surprise Show this Saturday

Greetings all, Utu here from the troupe.
While we have just come off of one of the most busy months we have ever had with the Niagara Folk Arts Festival, two T.V. spots and many news paper mentions as well as some great video footage made it worth while amoung the other perks, great crowds and a great cause. James Hand and his crew put on an amazing three weeks of multi cultural celebration for the entire Niagara Peninsula. We were honoured to have been able to have such a big part of it this year, thanks to everyone there for all the generosity in looking after us for the entire festival. We will be playing one more show for them on the Canada Day weekend in July, right in downtown St. Catharines, as well as their volunteer staff party, but that one is private, but it will be a good one.
So about the surprise show, we are pleased to announce that we will be playing at the Hamilton Pagan Pride Day Masquerade Ball this Saturday night June 2.
This will be the last time we will be playing at a pagan fest/party in Ontario, due to shows out of the country and large mainstreme events, some listed and some not yet, for quite some time. We simply cant do it all, travel for us is a bit of a challenge with this many band members, and we have to chase down the manifestation that is opening up for us.
The staff at Hamilton Pagan Pride Day put on one of the best and largest Pagan Pride Day celebrations in Canada, and it does rival many south of the border as well, its trully a great event. We were very sad to have to miss it this comming September due to being at a fest in the U.S., but we can be part of the fundraising event. We left it as a last minute announcement and hope it will be a great night, how could it not, pagans, costumes in a God and Goddess theme, hot weather, right on the harbour, yes it will be fun, and we will be partying it up as it will be one of the last times we play for our family here in the area, at least for a while.(unless your a hardcore like some that have been comming out to the maintstreme shows, your the best!).
