For the past few months, I've felt this desire to do something or participate in something that was bigger than me. I've done some research on local volunteer options and while I may still go forward with one of those, it still didn't seem to fit what I was looking for.

The walk isn't until October 17th. I'll need to have that money raised by at least September. It doesn't have to be right now.

I'll be posting about this a lot so I'm sure there will be a reminder or three around. :-)

Yup, it's really indescribable (isn't that a description in and of itself?!). I've tried to put that feeling into words and I keep coming up short.

Do they have any organized fundraising activities for volunteers to join?

Not as much. There are a *ton* of resources and ideas out there. They give you the info and the ideas but it's up to you to do the organizing part.

I'm going to try a few different things and see what works and what doesn't. It's a challenge, that's for sure.
