This is the last day in Bangkok for a while. Tonight i am taking an overnight train to Chang Mai. Went around to see the sights to day. Walked around the Grand Palace looking for the entrance. Everytime I found one, a man came up to me and told me I couldn't go in, that it was for Thais only because of a special Buddhist holiday. I went to an information center and they kindly laughed at me and told me this wasn't true. It was just a scam to try to get me to go on their tour. Bangkok has been suprisingly relaxing and a great place to get supplies before heading onward. The best thing? The food. Wonderful, fantastic, excellent. Everything I've eaten has been pure heaven. I try to eat small meals so I can eat many times to sample as many delicious foods as possible.
