the GOOD, the BAD, and the UGLY!
So the day went GOOD (even great), but then it just got BAD and then I got mean and UGLY! So I knew Wendy (District Manager, lady who decides when to promote me to management) was coming in to the store today for something, so I wanted every area I was in charge of to look immaculate! So I came in about 30 minutes early and started all my "Pro-Active" work... cleaning the windows, making the guard rails for the cart corrals all shiny, making the bags look perfecctttt, polishing everything in the entrances, etc. etc.
So I'm bagging an order and here she come *DUM DUM!!!* Of course I couldn't leave my customer, but I still had face time to I just said Hello and how are you, yada yada.. so then I'm doing my job, and I knew she was here to walk the meat department or something.. so I kept peaking back there... Then I had an associate fix up the restrooms and make them perfect. Because, as always, she is gonna walk the store.. by herself lol. So I'm walking the front speedway doing my job and here she comes.. so then we have our conversation :D YAY! lol She was like "Hey, congratulations, how do you like it so far?" and we shook hands like usual.. and I was like "Oh, I love it.." and then she started talking about how she saw me a couple weeks ago going into Trim & Tan lol And I was like "Yeahh, I tan there, b/c I like how my face looks when it's tan, but I really need to stop b/c of the long term affects.." and she's like "yeah, I used to be really into all of that too.." So we're just walkin' and talkin'.. Oh it was so great.. just every so casually like we're coworkers and always talk lol Then she asked me about my nametags and if they've ordered them for me.. and I told her Yeah, they even ordered my Customer Service Staff one months ago, and then my CSTL one about 3 weeks ago. Then she said she was waiting on hers too (like she wears one lol) and that they still must be on backorder.
Then she goes into the office and is talking with my store manager for a while and then she's out on the front end just talking to her.. but I can tell she's looking at the small things.. like how awesome I had the bags looking. I swear, our store has the best looking bags EVER lol I've never seen bags so organized.. So I'm talking loud as I'm greeting and talking to customers so I can make sure she sees and hears me doing my job LOL Then I go check the parking lot and as I'm outside she's walking out and we say ours byes and have a nice day. It went excellent! Couldn't have asked for it to be better.. and Amber was talking to me and she was like "Did Wendy tell you that you looked GQ?" lol and I'm like, No.. and she's like "yeah, she says Look at Wes, all GQ'd out!" lol w00t w00t! That was my goal!
So you might be asking, what was the BAD & UGLY part.. well that was later, the end of the day, when I went to the dry-cleaning place to talk to the owner and we had a big yelling fight. I swear, that dumbass fool has no idea what he's talking about. I didn't feel as though I should have to pay for their service when they left marks on my collars, and then partially fixed it (still noticeable) and had my clothes for a week. So after arguing over and over that that the marks are not from my neck b/c I don't have a fat double chin that hangs a half inch over my collar... I finally just told him to tell me what other dry cleaning places he is affiliated with or owns so I can make sure I never take my business there. And he's like "WHY YOU WANT TO KNOW DAT!" and I'm like Because I am not giving you my service anymore and I want to make sure wherever I go they're not affiliated with you. "WHY YOU WANT TO KNOW DAT, DON'T COME HERE, FINE, WHY YOU WANT TO KNOW DAT!?" and I'm like "Just tell me what other places you own so I know not to go there.." and he's like "YOU GO DER, AND YOU ASK THEM IF DEY IS HERE!" and I'm like wtf.. so I told him I'll just make sure they're not affiliated with him myself and told him he was an ignorant businessman and that I had friends that worked on the special programs for the news and that I was going to have them come over to his locations so they could broadcast how horrible his service is. LMAO I'm sorry, but he fucking pissed me off, we were YELLING! I can't even remember the last time I've had a fight like that with someone I barely knew LOL.
OH and another BAD & UGLY.. this stupid fat bitch at work thinks she's a fucking custodian and doesn't have to bag when I need her to, and she's not a custodian.. she's a bagger.. and she never bags when I ask her to, so I asked her to please come out and help us.. and I was with a customer when I asked her.. and she's like No, I'm doing this.. and I'm like Well, can you please stop for a few minutes because I need more help out here.. and she's like NO, i'm doing THIS... and the customer was even shocked.. she's like "Isn't she supposed to listen to you?" lol so after the customer left I went and told my store manager and she had a talk with her :D :D LMAO so then later when I see the bitch, she's just staring at me like Who the fuck are you.. so I just stared back. Bitch, don't mess with me cuz I'll get your fat ass fired.. I'll just document every little thing she does that is wrong.. and she'll be out in NO TIME :D I swear, everyone hates her.. she's the rudest fat bitch ever!
Anyway, I'm still stoked from seeing Wendy, now I just gotta pass my test!
