I picked up this gem in the dollar bin at HalfPrice a few weeks ago. I fucking love this book. It's the story of King David (and the Jews) told by old King David and it's hysterical. If you liked Catch-22 and have any inkling of Old Testament knowledge (for once I am grateful for that Baptist school experience) you will appreciate this book.
