Oh my gosh! I totally recognised your last name too and wondered... Yup, that's my little brother. It was the first graduation ceremony I've attended too.

I thought what are the odds of someone else with exactly the same last name in the Waikato. My sister and her boyfriend were graduating.

Heeeeee. I have done that before and it is just SO MORTIFYING. Lucky it was just your friend. I think when it happened to me it was a telemarketer, hee.
