Seaworld

Yes, yes, I know.....it's been ages since I posted, but time has just got away and I really haven't had much spare time recently. It seems that a lot has happened but time has diluted some events. However, I have been reading all your posts, just not commenting that often. I will try to catch up over a few posts over the next few days and hopefully get back on track again.

So, a few weeks ago we (Andrew, our friend Nic and myself) had a 'boys day out' at Seaworld, on the Gold Coast. I hadn't been here before so I was particularly excited. Theme parks are always fun and Seaworld didn't disappoint as they have shows, animal displays, an excellent tropical lagoon with so many reef fish, sharks and turtles. Usually I don't like performing animals, but the dolphin show is truly superb, and despite the fact that the dolphins are performing, they are only doing things that they would naturally do in the wild. There are also some thrill rides which we loved. It was a scorching day of about 35c, and as is common at this time of the year, humidity of about 90%. UGH!

We had been round this ride once and were all strapped in for another go when it broke down! Sitting 'clamped' very securely into a plastic seat in 35c heat wasn't fun! They had to release each seat individually with a battery pack!

Seems like this guy had the best idea!
