I get to Vermont and what do I see? A man on the television eating a dead zebra. And not like, butchering it and then cooking it somewhere. He found a zebra that lions had killed a few hours before, scared the vultures away, and is now hacking at it with a knife and his teeth.

Wtf television? Did it get weirder in the months that I was away, or am I just no longer used to it?

So Boulder was fun. I managed to do most of the things on that list, except hang out with Steve, because we can never seem to be in the same place at the same time for longer than a few minutes anymore. I also didn't get to hang with pecos, but there will be a next time!

Did I mention that I managed to time my stay there so as to coincide with finals week? Not the best time to be among college students. Katieblue didn't manage more than three hours of sleep a night the entire time I was staying with her. Evil evil college.

I watched Jeeves and Wooster with my sister tonight though. My goodness, but Hugh Laurie's facial expression are amazing.

Serious quote from this zebra-eating survivor guy show: "But lighting elephant dung is not always that easy." Imagine it said in a really serious English adventurer-type accent.

what the hell?, travel, boulder is weird
