Back in Boulder...

Dec 10, 2006 00:06

Katie is playing guitar, cigarettes are $5 a pack at most, the driveways and alleys are all covered in ice, and there are no forks in this apartment. Ah, Boulder. I kind of missed you.
I didn't fully comprehend that I was going to be here until about 20 minutes after I got to Denver. I'm slow on the uptake, what can I say?
So here I am. I can already feel my boogers drying out and my lips getting chapped from the lack of moisture in the air. Tomorrow is coffee with Ella (yay!), then some quality time in Naropa's computer lab, and then the Irish Session at Connor O'Neils, which I can actually drink at now.

(and because I love making lists)
Other plans include:
-drinking a lot of chai in the smoking area at Naropa
-hiking around Settler's park
-hanging out with too many people to name
-possible trip to Denver to get photographed again
-hanging out with pecos
-going to Burnt Toast and stuffing myself with biscuits and tea
-getting drunk with Steve
-Nepali food at Sherpas
-book shopping
-beer at Mountain Sun
-rooting through the free box at Naropa

MORE LISTS!
Things I forgot to do before I left:
-return library books
-clean out week-old hot chocolate in my room
-throw trash in my room out
-shut the door so Booda doesn't pee in my closet
-put my phone in my pocket, bag, or other place where it wouldn't be left behind (damn!)
-take care of finances

Oh well.

lists, travel, boulder is weird
