IF YOU ARE STAGNATING, MOVE TO FRESH WATER.

(SLIGHT RANT)

It's called life. Reality. It is difficult and complicated. It demands your effort and passion. Your desire to achieve, to thrive, to surmount are what you need to rely upon to survive your real and perceived tragedies. You stepped into life when you left the halls of high school, when you got a job, when you experienced heart break... Drama added excitement to the mundane days of adolescence when parents and teachers had more control over your life than you did. Drama belongs there and in the theatre; it has no place here. If you aren't happy with your life, change it. If it's not exciting enough, embark on an adventure. If it's not exhilaration you seek but, rather, are feeling deprived, subject yourself to true deprivation. Don't eat. Don't sleep. Stay outside with less than substantial attire, don't speak, go blindfolded…see what you actually have.

Every moment that you spend thinking about how some guy or girl fucked you over, or you allow them to lead you on, you're wasting that moment and letting the drama suck whatever actual life-force you have away from you. Whenever you spend time slipping into an emotion that is only as authentic as you allow it to be, you are cutting out whatever raw feeling you could actually be experiencing.

Here's a hint: It's drama if it doesn't change you or you gain no insight from experiencing it. Emotions help us grow. If you're dealing with heartache, you should gain wisdom from your pain. If your parents aren't who you wish they were, you need to analyze both them and yourself to find what you can do to progress from where you are. If your friends are soul-suckers, you must find what it is about them that makes them so to you, and find a solution.

"When you look at yourself from a universal standpoint, something inside always reminds or informs you that there are bigger and better things to worry about."

-Albert Einstein
