So, I plan on getting my fish sometime this week. Will take the bus to go to the place...I just hope it's the right place >< The name is familiar and even if it isn't the right place, it's nearby where I need to go and hey, my gps works for pedestrians, not just wheeled vehicles. With any luck, the bus ride is only an hour long, hopefully less. If not, then I could be looking at two hours, since the place is in an entirely different city. That and I have to find the actual bus stop first. I know which route, only problem, the stop, while nearby campus, isn't at any of the stops I've actually been to. Well, I might have been to it, I just don't know about it. So I'm going to go looking for this stop sometime this week as well. With any luck, I'll find it, it'll be the right stop, it won't take several hours, and I'll be able to carry everything without any casualties. I have great faith in my carrying abilities - 6 years worth of orchestra and many trips that involved me carrying a huge ass and heavy suitcase up and down stairs helped to hone my carrying abilities, after all.
I've decided I'll get a Shubunkin fish, just like the ones I have at home. Already, my pink plastic bowl is sitting on a corner of my desk, filled to almost the brim with water, and covered with my cute cling wrap that has cute snowmen and penguins on it. I only hope that will be enough water for when I put my fish into the bowl. I'm hoping to find a 1-gallon bowl because I'm afraid anything larger will be too much. If I get lucky, I'll even find a bowl with an in-built filtration system! :) It's going to be pretty heavy to carry around, but I will persevere! Even if I do have to unpack the bowl and stuff things in it to carry around. First, an item bowl, then a fish bowl! I have yet to decide what I will name my future fish, however. I'll think of something. Maybe Candy Cane? Sounds like a stripper name, sadly.
Things I need to get:
- fish
- fish bowl
- fish food
- gravel
- filter system
- something that can put O2 into the water (toy, maybe?)
- vacation fish food
That should be all in terms of my fishy needs.

My tongue hurts. Not too long ago, I consumed my first candy cane. It was delicious. Just licked and sucked at the refreshing peppermint taste. Unfortunately, it did something to my tongue and now it hurts. To combat it, and because I wanted juice, I'm drinking Naked Red Machine juice. It's good. I like it a lot. There was another one I liked a lot more, except I don't remember the name...ah well. I also got a bag of chips that I shall eat (not actually hungry...comfort food type thing) and another Naked juice. Mighty Mango. Why? I like mango flavor, it's one of my favorite flavors next to guava. That and my kareshi told me that on the receipt, it comes out as: Naked Mighty Man. Could not resist. True to his word, it does say: 1 Naked Mighty Man. hehe~ I'd take a picture of the receipt, but I tossed it. Plus, I doubted my ability to not get the other information on the receipt into the picture. I am proud to say that after having bought these three items, I am finally the max amount of dining dollars one person can have. At least what I thought was the max amount. Turns out, we all got $45 extra, or something. Or was it $15? Regardless, since this little tidbit was not mentioned, ever, I'm not including that extra deposit. Yay me!

Earlier today, I sent my ochem professor a desperate-sounding e-mail, begging for help. I believe I made it sound like I was at my wits end as to what to do in order for me to pass, much less survive, the accursed class. I actually said that - sans the last part, however. I hope it works. I need help. If I don't get that help, I will end up with a C or worse, and my gpa will suffer like a victim of the Spanish Inquisition. Or you know, whatever. If it comes down to it, I will change the grading basis. It may screw up my chances at medical school, but I think having a S/NC is a much better option than having a gpa that just plummets like a fat man thrown off a high cliff into churning lava. And if having S/NC in place of a letter grades causes that class to not be counted, well, then I'll just retake the class while I'm getting my Master's. That's the plan - graduate, master's, med school. With med school being the ultimate goal. If not, graduate, master's, phD, teach. yup. I'll just be a doctor that doesn't help people. haha
