The concert last night was good fun. It went as follows:

12 Stones
Theory of a Dead Man
3 Doors Down

I forgot about the whole opening band concept. 12 Stones was alright, the lead guy had a good set of lungs which in result made him have really even and smooth screams (growls?). The bass player really was a great performer; he had this whole dance going on while he played where he would kick his legs out the entire time. The band was really in time too. Music was not so original. Theory of a Dead Man sounded familiar...I'm sure I had heard them before or at least had heard their name. They had some good music too, their music was more matured than 12 Stones (in the sense that it was on a higher level). Their guitarist did a good job of getting the crowd interested in jumping up and down. 3 Doors down put on a great show. The light effects were very fun and interesting and beautiful. Their music seemed to reach the crowd very well so people responded favorably. They are not one of my favorite bands, but I learned a lot since it was the first rock concert I have been to. There was a lot of people doing the crowd surfing thing...That scared me because they were not handled the correct way, and I'm sure many of the 30 or so people who attempted it have some sort of injury...some of them hard hits to the head.
