College life as it stands.

Today officially marks teh end of week one of classes.

Since classes started last Thursday, I figure I'll start there. Thursday I had my Western World Lit class, and seriously guys, my professor is AWESOME. You wanna know how awsome? Take Sir, age him 30 years, and you've got my professor. How great is that? They even look alike. It's crazy. Plus, five out of the ten or so books we'll be covering I've either already studied, or have at least read some part of (we're doing Hamlet, which is both good and back, because I've done Hamlet for the past two years...).

Friday was Survey of American History, which is an okay class, except that there are like 275 people in it. But the professor's cool, so it's all good.

Monday was also American History, but, more importantly, I had my Ethical Problems in Mass Media class. First off, my professor is the Director of Public Relations for the Richmond Police Department, which is cool, because she actually has direct contact with the media on a regular basis. And the class is exactly like I thought it would be...it's all discussion and debate and philosophical questions mixed in with practical situations. The professor already knew my name by the end of the first class, which I thought was amusing.

On Tuesday, I forgot to set my alarm, so I missed my Experiencing Music class. It's all good, though, because I found out that my friend Jenna, who works with me at Starbucks, is also in that class, and she said all we did was go over the syllabus, which is what I thought we would do.

Today, aside from my american history class this morning, I had my political science class. The professor was cool, and such an idealist it isn't even funny. Plus, I think he was a hippie, which is amusing.

And that is my life as it stands now.
