I intended to be done with Luna last week. ;.; She's taking way longer than expected. ::sigh:: Well soon I'm going to put her on the backburner cause I need to get a move on on all the Izumicon stuff with Gidget and everybody!!
First off, that's my sweater now. I changed the buttons to black ones, easy enough. Painting this took a long time though and it bled through the tape so the blue stripes aren't very straight. :( I will touch it up a bit, but still. And that bronze, well I couldn't find bronze fabric paint, just gold, so I tried to mix it and while it looked bronze when I tested it, it just looks like mustard to me now! That's really bugging me. >.<;; More so on the tie.
Ugh! Mustard!! I'm totally redoing this thing! I hope I can find another cheap navy blue tie in time.
I actually found bronze paint, though pricey, I want to use that to redo the tie. It's VERY shiny metallic though. Also look at my cute new pincushion. =D
The robes have actually been finished for like a week. I finally had John to take pictures. Notice the very Luna-esque footwear. They are way too damn big but I still cut like a foot in each direction off that pattern. D: SO HUGE.
Lastly, 2 dye attempts and 3 boxes of dye later, I got the skirt fabric the right color, a close match to the sweater.
Left to make:
-skirt
-beaded raddish earrings
-butterbeer cork necklace
-wand (maybe later, probably not in time for Halloween)
The Quibbler would be cool too, but I've got no idea how to do it. ^.^;
Left to buy:
-fun socks
-Ravenclaw patch
