AX Saturday Report
I can't believe it! Thanks for informing, Hanyaan that I had placed second in the lookalike contest. I'm really happy about that, with this being the third one I've entered and finally placing. ^^ Thanks to anyone who voted for me!
I came to the con dressed as Nanami. ^^ That costume is easycake to get into compared to Iron Mouse and Shinku. I was surprised how many people told me they loved Nanami and were appreciated that I cosplayed her. ^^ Here are some Nanami photos that my honey took:

I rushed over to the Princess Tutu gathering just to take photos. Gah now I want to redo Pike even more!! There were a couple of amazing Tutu's *.*
Turns out tasu, who was supposed by my Touga, had wig problems so she couldn't wear it. :( I met up with Tako in Miki and Krish in Utena though. ^^ So at least half the group was together xD; It was so fun! We ran into other Utena girls and had a blast with our impromptu photshoot and rainbow orgy pics. 8D This is totally the kind of thing I go to AX for. Totally makes up for 2005's Utena gathering.
I wish the lighting was better...this pic is CUTE.

Oh yeah, we got interviewed!
The boys wore their One Piece costumes today for that gathering - naturally I took pictures for them. ^^ We also met up with long lost Andie who wore here Nami costume from 3 years ago (haha not really picking on her!) I don't get this series at all but they are obsessed with it. I will say it has some pretty interesting costumes for a shonen series and amusing poses. xD xD I even saw a Sanji kiss a Zoro. o.o Afterwards we went to another One Piece panel during which I fell asleep. Yes that's what REAL cosplayers do at panels! xD

I'm now under the impression that One Piece, like Utena, is just a big colorful orgy.
Our main event for Saturday evening was AX Idol. We got decent seets in the center section~ The videos shown before the event were probably funnier than the actual thing. XD I don't really like Johnny Young Bosch as a host...I miss Crispin Freeman. :( (who I'm also dissapointed I didn't get to see this year...shoulda gone to the Hellsing panel GRR!) The whole thing with 2005's singing winner winning again was very WTF. And I don't like how the voice actors have to pick from certain clips and play characters they likely don't know much (or anything) about. But it was overall okay and quite good entries. And Halko Momoi was so cute clapping her glove hand and her glowstick the WHOLE time. xD xD But yeah I don't like AX Idol much the way it is now.

OMG W!! And Harry Potter! xD There was another W group in the PopShock which i didn't get to see~ cosplayers Katie and Velvy. I was sad not to see more H!P cosplay but yeah for W!!
Wind of the Stars and CJ doin some Lodoss Wars~ I only saw them as they were going to change out! So I totally missed Nessa and Juan's. ;.; They're stuff is SO AWESOME LIKE WHOA POKEY POKEY SHINY

Not a great picshar taken in the dealer's hall, but Orange Octopus did one of the best Flonnes I have seen. =o I guess cause of the release of Disgaea 2, Disgaea all of a sudden went from "obscure" to "popular to cosplay" this year at AX. Most Flonne's are sucky and innacurate so hers made me happy. I love the wig! I want a good wig like that before I wear my Flonne again.
And last but certainly not least, Brilliant Moon's Tenchi group!! Holy crap those wigs must have been a bitch to transport! >.<;
