Of academic papers and collar cardboards
I am very glad that I submitted my final term paper, but I wonder how soon I can get it graded. :/ I certainly need to submit my grad thesis paperwork ASAP. (Damn my procrastination!) Oh well, I guess, I'll nag my prof this week about that... I also have to start working on my thesis immediately. Certainly decide on the topic. Well, exact topic, that it's gonna be "Seirei no moribito" is given anyway. ^^; But despite this stress, I am happy that I am getting things done! :D ..Though if I only didn't have that depression last year, maybe I wouldn't have that much stress now... >_<
There is still this somewhat distressing suspicion that I am about to catch a cold. Meh. Aspirin Complex to the rescue! XD
Also, the silly me found yet another way to add stress: I am soooo looking forward to Japan - and wearing a kimono there! XD But! Of course, I haven't practiced wearing it enough, besides, my instructions were so-so. Now I've found way better instructions, so I think I might manage better now - that is, if I get to practice! Oh d'oh! *lol* I also have to make a collar stiffener somehow - but I can't decide on material (or rather find cardboard that would be stiff enough). Not so sure about the color coordination either, but red+white+kobai("old plum pink")+pale yellow will have to do, because I don't want to take my graduation combination (a bit too early to wear that around New Year), and also, I haven't worn my red komon properly yet. (I wore it together with my deep red hakama for Halloween party at Rits two years ago.)
I also had few scary moments with computer!fail today, too. I just hope that my laptop will make it through my graduation bonanza... ^^;
