How good of him to put it that way: there's been this subtle shift in my psychology over the past month or so which has been hard to put my finger on, but this comes as close as anything. It's become an imperative for me to never be busy, because feeling shoved around by obligations is actually an impediment to productive activity. "Business is a poor substitute for productivity" has now made the list.
